Background:
As a Geospatial Analyst at University of Sao Paulo (USP), I technically advise undergraduate, graduate, and research students (MsC and PhD) to process data from different sources (Vector, Raster and Big Data) in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and create different maps for their researches and subjects. I am also involved in Geomatics projects with other national and foreign universities and occasionally government agencies.
Recently (in 2018 and 2019), I was part of the International Geodesign Collaboration (IGC) project from Harvard University with Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism from University of Sao Paulo (USP). The project title was: Green Infrastructure Plan for the sources of the Jaguaré Creek at Sao Paulo city.
As a Geomatics Postgraduate Professor in the private sector, I teach teams from different university backgrounds and professions, the use of Open Source GIS, Spatial Data Infrastructures and Location Intelligence.
