Military – Served in the Naval Reserve as a weather specialist then on active duty as an Aircraft Carrier Naval Aviator during Operations Southern Watch over Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.  Strategic concentration on maritime surface surveillance, locating and classifying all maritime vessels in the Adriatic Sea and Indian Ocean.

Civilian – Strategic specialist in satellite collections.  Expert in analyzing target locations, seasonal weather patterns, sensor locations and competing requirements by implementing GIS workflows for maximizing cloud-free usable satellite collections.

Civil Air Patrol – Search and Rescue trainer and pilot observer. Additional missions included documenting the 2013 Boulder County flood disaster for FEMA using geo-located aerial imagery and on-line map displays with near real-time inputs and updates.
